YOUR FIRST DAY IN OUR OFFICE
Plan to be in the office approximately one hour.

Step 1 WELCOME! We are expecting you.

Step 2 You will be given a brief form to fill out.
If you need any assistance, no problem.
We're here to help.

Step 3 Next you will be shown to the consultation/exam room.
Dr. Sharon Goodyear-Johnston will be right with you.

Step 4 During the consultation you talk and Dr. Sharon listens.
She'll ask you questions about your current health status and health history...;
explain a bit about chiropractic and take notes as necessary.

Step 5 If you both agree to proceed with the exam, you will be escorted to the exam room.

Step 6 The exam consists of three essential parts;

A. Palpation. Dr. Sharon feels your spine to assess the position and motion of the vertebrae.
B. Standard range of motion and neurological testing.
C. Computerized evaluation of your spinal nerves. A totally non-invasive computerized evaluation of your spinal nerves using a surface EMG and a Thermal scan.

Step 7 X-Rays. If Dr. Sharon determines that films are necessary you will be given a requisition form and all necessary directions.

Step 8 Settle your account for today's visit and book your next appointment.

Step 9 Drop off your films at the office before your next visit so they can be evaluated and we will be prepared when you next see us.
